2017-2018 Season at the Arizona Opera

A real estate investor with over five decades of experience, Lew McGinnis owns a real estate investment firm in Nichols Hill, Oklahoma. His real estate ventures have taken him to many parts of the West, including Arizona. Throughout his career, Lew McGinnis has contributed his time to a diverse range of charitable organizations, including the Arizona Opera Company.

Originally established in 1971 as the Tucson Opera Company, the Arizona Opera continues to bring the arts to countless audience members with full operas, music concerts, and other programs, along with the Arizona Opera Orchestra. About to launch its 45th season, the Arizona Opera believes in the power of music and story to transform hearts.
The 2017-2018 season will open with Hercules vs. Vampires on October 15th in Tucson and October 21st and 22nd in Phoenix. Tosca will follow on November 11th and 12th in Tucson and November 17-19 in Phoenix. The spring shows will include vocal recitals with Jennifer Johnson Cano and Lisette Oropesa, plus productions of Candide, The Barber of Seville, and Das Rheingold.
