A real estate investor in Nichols Hill, Oklahoma, Lew McGinnis has decades of experience in multiple industries ranging from selling pre-owned cars to lending. Throughout his career, Lew McGinnis has dedicated much of his time to philanthropic endeavors, including serving as the finance chairman for the Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministry (CJAMM).

Founded to help individuals free themselves from addictions and criminal behavior, CJAMM focuses on serving incarcerated persons and their families. The organization provides a variety of programs to help these individuals build good relationships and reshape their lives from a Christian perspective.
CJAMM shares details about these programs through its quarterly newsletter, which provides an inside-look into the impact donations and volunteers with the organization have on prison inmates, those recently released from prison, and their families. Known as The New Gate, the newsletter features photos highlighting programs such as the New Day Camp for children and information about upcoming events. It also includes personal accounts of experiences at local Redemption Churches and Exodus Houses.
